Teenage miscreant Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell) wanders aimlessly amid a bleak, futuristic urban landscape. Along with his fellow thugs, he drinks drugged milk and listens to Beethoven—that is, when he’s not stealing or raping or beating people in nihilistic orgies of violence. A Clockwork Orange, based on Anthony Burgess’ novel, is as powerful as when it was released in 1971.

When this came out in 1971, everyone I knew thought it was a ‘griping’ look at the Future. Now in 2006, it seems to have been a Prophesy ?
It’s hard to pick the best Kubrick Film… I ended up choosing this movie becouse of the great balance between inovation, great cast, great music, great humor and as a shocking counterpart for 2001. Also picked becouse it’s not so obvious pick as 2001 :)
much of this film seems relevant to todays youth
ultraviolence
I haven’t listened to Beethoven’s “glorious ninth” the sane way since I saw this movie.
This was one messed up movie. 2007 is so not like that
It's an awesome movie. No older movie that portrayed a time period portrays it correctly.
I love the slang they use in the book. I probably won't see the movie though, because it's probably way too violent for me.
The book was awesome though. I can deal with that.
