 Yeah, in the original version of the Empire Strikes Back, Darth Vader and Han Solo actually fall in love when Han is captured. All the Storm Troopers make fun of them, so Han and Darth flee to Tatooine and have an affair. It didnt go over well with test audiences, so they changed it to Han being frozen

oh yeah i remember that, the world just wasnt ready for gay affairs. (when i saw it it was pretty not doen for me either) funny how some things are forgotten tho
