Actually, you’re not the only one trying to get me to read these at the moment. I’m sure I’ll cave eventually. Fantasy of the classical, magic-using type isn’t really my thing, so it’s a slightly uphill battle; plus, destiny and such aside, I never totally got the point of all this magical training they’re doing at the Whatchamacalla school. I mean, it seems like for an institution with such a small graduating class, they churn out their share of genocidal maniacs.
