Edmund Burke was an Irish writer and author, but is perhaps best known for his work and writings as a philosopher. An outspoken individual towards politics, he is renowned in history for his strong opposition of the French Revolution, and his ideas and subsequent writings on subjects such as Democracy and Freedom. In regards to Romanticism and Art, one of his biggest contributions in this area was analysis on categories of the aesthetic.
