Once upon a time in a castle high on a hill lived an inventor whose greatest creation was named Edward. Although Edward had an irresistable charm, he wasn’t quite perfect. The inventor’s sudden death left him unfinished, with sharp shears for hands. Edward lived alone in the darkness until one day a kind Avon lady took him home to live with her family. And so began Edwrad’s fantastical adventures in a pastel paradise known as suburbia.
A Tim Burton classic starring Johnny Depp. This wonderful movie will go down in history as one of the greatest modern fables. Who didn’t fall in love with the ‘uncommonly gentle’ Edward? Because such beautiful cinema has yet to be repeated – Edward Scissorhands is best!

The most beautifully told story of modern time.
I used to be obsessed, I had a picture of him I’d carry around, I made him into my imaginary boyfriend. I was ten at the time, but still, I LOVE HIM ! That movie is THE BEST !!!
i love the waterbed part… hee hee
yeah, llz, I went out with him in my imagination too!
I’d like to have shoehorn hands.
Shoehorn hands?? how come??
LOL , wen I wuz little I HAD THE HUGEST CRUSH ON EDWARD SCISSORHANDS . I wanted him 2b my bf. LOL . Oh! No wonder why. It’s Johnny Depp. All this time and I JUST found out. (all j/k aside)
Ummm…cuz I have a lot of tight-fitting shoes???
gotta love em!
This is one of my favourite movies... Best Johnny Depp movie. He always plays such eccentric characters... says a lot about him. I love how everything appears to be so perfect at first glance and then the real side is revealed. It's very sad too, it used to make me tear up a little.
How you gonna use the toilet?!?
I love this movie. It's beautiful. Makes me cry.
LoL at the 'shoehorn hands' idea.
Best Tim Burton movie because of that bit where Edward is about to get his hands and Vincent Price dies and Edward goes to grab the hands but cuts them to pieces...*sniff*...gets me every single time.
What a beautiful movie.
Gets me every time. Sniff.
Loves the story Very much..Peace Out _
i love this movie.......so sweet!
and didnt Winona Ryder look pretty wif blonde hair?
this is the most amazing movie EVER!!
the cast, the soundtrack, the story...its all amazing!
Cool movie!
When I saw this movie, I can honestly say I thought Edward/Johnny was just about the cutesy thing ever in that movie. Everyone else thinks I’m weird or insane. Eh oh well. I love Johnny Depp!!
"The Best Thing to watch While Everything Is Going Wrong"—really true!! I love it.
i love this movie!!!
i first watched this movie late at night, which is when everything magical & exciting happens, obviously. i def developed a little crush on edward! so endearing.
I qoute this funny quote from the movie "And then she showed me the back room where she took all of her clothes off."
I feel like I have to say I like this film…..but do i really?
The ending was awesome.
Sad and dramatic in all the right ways.
And it's one of those rare movies where I feel like crying at the end.
And trust me, they're rare.
I did NOT, for example cry watching The Lake House.
People think I'm evil cause of that *shrug*
oops, I meant The Notebook.
I'm just not a romantic.
Just great!! It's a really good movie..
