Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory never should have been remade. Gene Wilder was perfect for the part, casting Johnny Depp for the role just made the otherwise good actor look bad compared to Gene Wilder.
I like Johnny Depp as an actor, I like everything he’s been in, but I will not see the “new” Willy Wonka, If there is a real Willy Wonka- Gene Wilder has to be it.
He’s so cute in an old man kinda way. By god, not saying he’s old though.
