The phenomenon of Harry Potter...J.K. Rowling's creation has cascaded into fame. This is the story of a teen wizard's epic 16 year war with the evil wizard, Voldemort. Ever since Voldemort couldn't kill Harry at the age of one, the two have shared a deep connection, that not even the most ancient magic leaves clue to. This connection, [through the scar on his forehead that was given to him when Voldemort couldn't kill him as a baby] however, cascades the boy to fame in the wizarding world (which he didnt even find out existed till the age of 11 because Voldemort killed his parents, and therefore had to go live with his non magic relatives). When Harry arrives to the British magic school, Hogwarts, he has many life and death experiences...as well as having to cope with his fame in the midst of hundreds of his wizarding peers. What many envy in him, just tears him apart and builds him up. He also has many life or death situations on the way. This all leads up to the final battle: him against Voldemort. I wont leak any spoilers to those who have not read book 7, but what do you think? will he live? or will he die?

Hmm. I don’t know. Some people would. The image looks computergenerated. There’s also that guy who wrote like a 600 page fanfic. And out it on the internet, as if it had been the real manuscript leaked.
well…I hope it’s in the film, cause it sounds good;)Or a least something similar happening betweene the two of them. Cause if things are goin to boil over in the next film, they’ll have to keep turning up the heat….consistently

I think I can believe it 50% bcoz JKR really likes doing stuff that nobody expects, totally. So I really think she would kill off a main character whom most of her readers unanimously believe to be the least likely to be killed off.
Well, there is every reason not to believe it. But it could be real, people will just think it isn’t true. Just like all the rumours about the theme park. People stopped believing them, but in the end, it was true.
I’ve just read some of what it says. And i don’t believe it. Actually it made me 100% sure that it was a lie. I don’t think people should worry.

Well, it turns out that person at IMDb is indeed telling the truth! His copy of the script are real! Everybody there is conceding now because all those who have seen the movie in advance (myspace members) are confirming it.

The movies totally butcher the books.
I totally disagree w/ u Darth, I think that the book to movie interpretation of The Harry Potters is rather good, not perfect but pretty good compared to other book to movie interpretations. :)
I'm not saying I dislike the movies, in fact I truly enjoy them. But being the total dork that I am I can't help but find the books better.
I'm afraid I get angry every time I see the movies, because some of my favorite scenes are cut out, some of the actors don't meet my (insanely and unreasonably) high standards for certain characters.. and .. and.....
don't mind me, I'm as mad as they come.

Yeah they are kind of different. The books published in England use British English and the ones in the U.S. are in American English. Probably not a whole lot different
AND, the 1st book has different titles in Britain and the U.S. In Britain it's the Philosopher's Stone and in the U.S. its the Sorcerer's Stone. That's your Harry Potter trivia for the day ;)

ive never read any of the books, its so hard like i watched all the movies so far but when i try to read the books i get bored because ive already seen the movies! i like books better than movies but when it comes to harry potter, ehhhh u start with the moives u end with the moives and read the books afterwards:D and the dude that acts as harry potter is CUTE! why did he cute his hair?! it looked better long…
so i saw the movie at midnight the day it came out... it was a let down. i almost cried... but then i was to busy drooling over harry to even notice... hehe
and jk said it wasnt just going to be two main characters, that the entire book is going to be a BLOODBATH!
