The phenomenon of Harry Potter...J.K. Rowling's creation has cascaded into fame. This is the story of a teen wizard's epic 16 year war with the evil wizard, Voldemort. Ever since Voldemort couldn't kill Harry at the age of one, the two have shared a deep connection, that not even the most ancient magic leaves clue to. This connection, [through the scar on his forehead that was given to him when Voldemort couldn't kill him as a baby] however, cascades the boy to fame in the wizarding world (which he didnt even find out existed till the age of 11 because Voldemort killed his parents, and therefore had to go live with his non magic relatives). When Harry arrives to the British magic school, Hogwarts, he has many life and death experiences...as well as having to cope with his fame in the midst of hundreds of his wizarding peers. What many envy in him, just tears him apart and builds him up. He also has many life or death situations on the way. This all leads up to the final battle: him against Voldemort. I wont leak any spoilers to those who have not read book 7, but what do you think? will he live? or will he die?

Yes it's good indeed. And it's so cool how much people get inspired by the books. For example I know lots of English and Hungarian online magic schools inspired by Harry Potter. And RPG-ing in this HP world is interesting too. :)

harry potter is amazing. i loved it ever since i was in 3rd grade when the movie came out. i decided to check it out,and fell in love instantly and wouldnt be satisfied till i possessed all of the books.

I cannot express my profound love for the Harry Potter book series. Best things ever written – Rowling deserves every bit of praise and publicity this series has ever gotten.
Other than the first 2 movies (which were okay) the movie series is a horrid disappointment and they make me ridiculously angry. I can’t watch them anymore. They can’t compare to the books in the least, and they mangle the stories. People who only see the movies – even if they think the movies are good – have no idea how amazing the series actually is. Don't get me wrong - I know that things need to be changed / left out / done differently when adapting a novel to a screenplay - but the choices of things to cut out and change are always completely wrong. Seriously... what happened to Prisoner of Azkaban?

at first i really dnt like hp… but when a friend asked me to watch it with him… i felt i had no choice but to watch it.. the first hp i watched is the chamber of secrets.. then i lovd it so i rented a cd of sorcerers stone and watched it… since then i hvent missed any series of hp… thanks to my friend!! lol
