Japanese Language

I love Japanese. Before I learned it, it seemed so misterious. Even knowing it, it's still so incredible!

I want to learn how to speak Japanese and read kanji!

I love Japan and ainime but the Lanuage is a differnt story

im into korean and japanese lessons now. reading and writing in korean was easier for me than talking. i learned reading and writing korean at day 1.its so easy.However,i find talking in japanese easier than reading and writing since there are 3 characters you need to memorize and master,hiragana,katakana and kanji…my head is killing me.. But i wanna learn japanese more no matter what. i'll keep it up.

i think it would be a tough language to learn but would be fun! anyone know how wanna teach me? hit me up lol later

This takes a lot of study! Unless you only want to learn to speak (not write) it.

I dunno about writing, but I'd at least like to read it.

not very hard. but if you have a crap teacher it will be hard. like Takase sensei!!

I'm taking Japanese because I failed Spanish, didn't do well in French and stayed in 3rd grade chinese for 3 years before I found out I was hopeless. Surprisingly Japanese came easy to me and is fun to learn. Why isnt there a useful alphebet in chinese in which you can just spell out the words instead of memorizing each character? I'll be learning Kanji soon and I don't think I'll do well…wish me luck =(

been studying for 5 years and i know about as much as a 5 year old. and people think i love anime because i take japanese but really hate that shit.

uhm…i can speak a little japanese…a little…and i can also read and write in kana…kanji's the hardest to learn, i think…hmmm…it really takes a lot of patience and perseverance to learn the complexities of this language…-_-V

I know a couple words and phrases but that's about it.

Its fun but hard. Same with Korean and Chinese. But since I want to be a linguist for East Asian languages i have to study these three languages and master em! Ah!! Can't wait. My passion for learning languages helps me enjoy learning and studying. :D

Cause... I'm part Japanese... and I don't know how to speak the language at all... 

I'm in the process of learning Japanese…Need to get more motivation, though ^^ I never seem to have enough of that now these days…It's such a pretty language, but kinda hard to learn, 'cause the syllable system makes you try to say things and do sounds you're not used to making and your tongue gets all tied =^^= At least…that's what happens to me…0_o;

all because you are part something doesn't mean its weird if you don't know the language. Well, if you where, say Russian, and lived in Russia, it would be weird that you don't know Russian. But if you are part Russian and never been to Russia, it isn't weird. At least to me. (If it were true that you had to know your ancestor's lingos, I'd have to know Scottish Gaelic, French, German, Polish, Ukrainian and whatever language my Native ancestors spoke. Eep!) And I am in the proccess of learning Japanese. :D

I've been addicted to oriental thing and I so definitely love Japanese stuff, be it culture, society, language and the Japanese script....... They seem pretty hard though, but that's okay.

learning kanji is hard for me

im now on lesson 18 of mina no nihongo. it takes a lot of studying to get through the language. kanji's real hard. i only know a few. can read and write katakana and hiragana.
