Love him or hate him, I think Jim Carrey is still a stand out comedian. He has the hyper activity of Robin Williams.
I watched Fun With Dick and Jane and was killing myself laughing when he goes to rob a largish middle age man. They have a distorted voice system to cover up there speech, and its funny to see Jim Carrey use it has a bit of a comedy prop.

He’s so lovely.
I think he’s very talented, hilarious and a good human being. After all, he began doing this just to make his mother laugh. :)
hes a good and funny actor, but his stand up comedy is just annoying.
He's pretty awesome… my friends are frightened by him (a few are anyway) The Mask is my favourite.
He has made no bad movies yet. Even The Number 23 was good, showing he can play a variety of parts.
Oh, he's made some bad ones. It may not be obvious before you get into your twenties, but some of them are really bad.
I didn't really like the Series of Unfortunate Events. There are a few others that i am not too fond of but can't think of it at this moment.
I don't care if they were bad to you. I've at least enjoyed every character he has played. It is obvious, and how do you even know how old I am?
I said he hasn't been in any BAD movies, that doesn't mean every movie he has been in is GREAT. They are either great, good, or mediocre. When I say bad, it means I hate the movie with a passion. I have a completely different vocabulary, mind you.
If you were older, you would not only be far less likely to enjoy all Jim Carrey movies, but you would also be less likely to have used the word "I" so often in your reply.
Well, there's one problem with the Ace of Diamonds. The Ace of Diamonds is obsessed with movies and is far too arrogant to not use the simple word, 'I'.

Age has nothing to do with it. That's just silly. A person can be mature beyond their years. And, no offense toward you Panda, but I would be upset too. Especially since I'm not in my twenties. I don't think being in your twenties qualifies someone any more than being in your late teens.

Well, I wouldn't dub Carrey a bad actor. There's a lot of different reasons different movies are bad. I've never found any actors that make nothing but good movies. But then again, I do admit that my standards for cinematic excellence are much much less forgiving than those of most people.

Well, we've talked about funny Jim Carrey, but what about his "serious" movies? I mean, he's proved to be a good actor in movies like Eternal Sunshine or Truman Show. Will he always have biased critics focusing on "Ace Venturas"?
I think he's definitely proved himself. Even Ace Venturas is a cult classic, even if it isn't adored by the critics.
