i like it, it’s supposed to be predictable and the violence is meant to be over the top, take it for what it is and its entrtaining. plus Uma is hot, what more reason do you need?!
the movie sucked big time. full of prodicible plots, long meaningless conversations and dumb violent
I think, perhaps, the concepts behind postmodern cinema have escaped you.
Kill Bill Vol 1&2 rely on other texts and film making techniques to give them meaning. For example, the manga Lady Snow Blood by Kazuo Koike & Kazuo Kamimura seems to provide much of the films’ plot and stylistic inspiration. The intertextuality of the film is expressed in the films dedications to Japanese directors Akira Kurosawa and Kinji Fukasaku. Volume 2 borrows heavily from Westerns and both films appropriate Kung-fu action sequences.

Quentin redeemed himself in these 2 films. Jackie Brown acckkk.
This just reminded me of Charlie’s Angels as an anime.

part one = cool cuz of the overthetop action part two just take to long while nothing happens. what i ment with dumb violents is not overthetopfights.
cool, i do agree though, pulp fiction is in a different league, its excellent.
yeah, lots of movies he writed(or directed) are super like deperados, sin city, reservoirdogs, naturalbornkiller, from dusk till dawn.
so much!
One of my favorite movies, I’m still not sure how anyone can not like it.
