Animes hardly show twins, so it's suprising how Sunrise created Kira and Cagalli as twins. One of a kind. Kira and Cagalli has a really complex sibling relationship. For the first part, Cagalli was raised in an emir family of the Athha while Kira was raised in a more middle class Yamato family. There point-of-views are really different though there are some ideologies they have in common. Before they knew that they were siblings, I believe they were starting to have a relationship. That means that they do have some thoughts about each other. In general, Kira and Cagalli never bickers and even after arguments they would eventually forget their differences and be together.
