Well Colin Firth in that role IS the definitive and unquestionably Darcyest Darcy around, so the two are too interlinked to have a preference, really.

We can't go past Colin Firth as Mr Darcy and will forever be the best ... but Matthew Macfadyen was clearly amazing in the role - I couldn't stand him at the start, but by the time he came across that field at the end ... mmm
