Yeah, the metro is tres bien – half the fun is getting from the entrance to the train. Best buskers in the world.
As far as wealth distribution, do you mean the projects? I think they still have some serious post-colonial issues.

Paris is awesome. I love the architecture. However, I must add that I got pickpocketed before boarding the Eurostar. So be careful!

I was there a couple of months back and the people were great and tres polite!
The only really rude person I encountered was a awful American woman in a hotel-no please-no thank-yous!
I'm from Sydney but I'd happily spend the next 10, 15, 20 years there for the shops and the food (La Duree's macarons are worth the visit alone), and the architecture...
paris est vrément une trés belles ville , surtout en cette periode de noel ,, je dirai que c'est la ville ou une des villes les plus romantique car rome a l'air pas mal .
