That's what it's called all over the world and it's its more logical name (constant kicking the ball with the foot). Not only that, calling it football gives it more dignity. Calling it by the other name is almost insulting it. America doesn't look too smart by not calling it football and instead giving that name to a modified form of Rugby. Australia is now calling it football and hopefully America can respect the game and follow suit, who cares what other sports try to claim the same name. Because we know which sport is the true football.
