Yeah, I finished it! Very rewarding, but you're also left with a slightly empty feeling, as often happens with this kind of thing.
It's all about the GB version. Some of the re-hashes are awful.

What's all this talk of "finishing"?
I mean, the Gameboy/NES version of Tetris doesn't really end -- cutscenes aside, it goes on as long as you can hang in there.
For the sake of trivia, the colorful building depicted above and on most early Tetris titles is based on Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow.
No one of you will care, but last night I did my first over 100 000 score: 136 826. Level 21, 209 lines.
Jesus! Good for you! Gets a bit mental anything over 150 lines, so well done!
And -bailey-, finishing wasn't an option in the main game (as far as I'm aware), it was the challenge mode (I forget what it was actually called) where you started off with a screen full of junk and had to clear it from there.
