He was a very witty man, and that is my fave quip by him!
He is one of my favorite character's in history.
He deserves his place in history. The world has had many leaders, but very few were worth following.
If you get a chance, if you haven't already, I have read two biographies:
Winston Churchill: The Valiant Years by Jack LeVien and John Lord
Winston Churchill by Robert Lewis Taylor
He was a strong, compassionate, intelligent, leader who lead a very adventurous life.
I have a collection of his speeches on tape, its clever and inspiring stuff. He knew what was going to happen years before anyone else even wanted to think it.
Excelent, that must be a treat to listen to. I would look for that on CD if available.
